The YMCA of Central Ohio is moving towards fulfilling the PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) thanks to eFinesstri's PA-DSS Compliancy. The goal of PA-DSS is to help software vendors develop secure payment applications and ensure their payment applications support compliance with the PCI DSS. Payment applications that are sold, distributed or licensed to third parties are subject to the PA-DSS requirements.
Visa Credit Card Software Security Deadline:
July 1, 2010
Visa, Inc. released a recent Press Release spelling out security requirements for any Agency that processes credit card charges through Visa:
"Visa acquirers must ensure that all new and existing merchants and agents in the Visa network use PA-DSS compliant applications by 1 July 2010."
eFinesstriŽ has been accepted by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council as a PA-DSS Application.
